T-Ball, Trains, and Peaches too

We are enjoying the last few weeks of the summer in slightly slower, more relaxed fashion than we spent our first few months of summer. Mostly that is due to the fact that I am 33 weeks pregnant and I am getting much slower. Zach is being patient with me as I waddle behind him and try to keep up. We have been spending lots of time with friends, lots of time playing outside, and looking forward to many fun fall activities. Zach is already getting excited for Halloween and has announced that he is going to be a Fireman! Here are a few new pictures...

We picked lots of peaches at Homestead Farm a few weeks ago.
Zach had previously decided that peaches were yucky (I think it was the skin), but after
this exciting farm visit he now "woves peaches."

Zach and I went to the Washingtonian Center to hear a fun kids concert.
However, once he saw that there was a train he no longer cared about the concert.
Here he is waiting to get on...

Here he is, ticket in hand, enjoying the ride.
I love how he is being his very serious self as he always is when he is on rides
like this that are really exciting and make him feel grown-up.

Here are Zach and daddy playing with the new T-Ball set in the backyard.
Daddy is showing him how to use to hands as he was becoming a great one handed swinger.
He hits the ball...

running to first...

rounding third...

He makes it home and manages to collect a ball on the way in!

Zach in action...
